The Celtic Book Fair aims to bring children and books together by bringing pop-up bookshops to hundreds of schools across Ireland each year. Each Book Fair offers a wide and exciting selection of books designed to appeal to all types of readers. In addition, every book purchased helps the school to earn commission, which can be exchanged for free books and valuable teaching resources.

The Book Fair is organised each year by Ms. Mathews, with the support of the school’s senior pupils. This year, the Book Fair takes place during the first week of March as part of our World Book Day celebrations.

Thanks to the generosity and support of our pupils and their parents and guardians, the school raises a significant amount of commission through the Book Fair. This commission is used to purchase a wide range of books and literacy resources, helping to support and enhance the teaching and learning of literacy throughout the school.
