Dulargy N.S is extremely fortunate to have a vast amount of outdoor space which we take huge pride in. There is a beautiful outdoor garden in the senior yard. The children have decorated this garden with painted stones and ornaments. There are an abundance of bulbs planted which will blossom in the Spring. The outdoor garden also hosts a fabulous outdoor classroom with tables and benches that have been carved out of local trees with the help of our caretaker. We have also been given a generous donation by . We hope to use this money to fund a pollination project which the children will be involved in leading up to the summer months. The children in 1st class have been busy planting sunflower seeds which they hope to plant outside in the garden too!

The children in Junior and Senior Infants are also very fortunate to have a beautiful soft play area in their yard fully equipped with a slide, climbing frame, balance beam and mini roundabout. The senior classes also have access to two outdoor football pitches and basketball courts. In the summer months when the weather is dry and sunny the children in the school have access to a football pitch at the back of the school. They look forward to the summer months where they will have the opportunity to play on this pitch.
